And here’s something I hold onto deeply in my work: even when things feel tangled, there is still a way through. There is a path back to inner peace—sometimes it’s not obvious at first, but it exists. We’ll find that path together, step by step, at a pace that feels safe for you.

Hi—I’m Maryam. If you’re here, there’s a good chance you’ve been strong for a long time. The kind of strong that looks impressive… and feels exhausting.
My style is warm, present, and grounded. I bring both clinical skill and real human care into the room. Therapy with me is not just talking in circles. It’s a thoughtful mix of:
Deep emotional understanding (so you feel truly seen)
Evidence-based tools (so you feel real change)
A pace that respects you (so you don’t feel overwhelmed)
I’m also someone who genuinely believes this: when you feel stuck, it doesn’t mean you’re broken—it usually means you’ve been carrying too much alone, for too long. And almost always, there is a way forward. We work together to find the clearest path—back to calm, clarity, and the parts of you that feel like “you” again.
My Journey
Calm Mind Therapy didn’t start as a business idea—it started as a belief:
When people feel truly safe, they start telling the truth.
And when the truth has space to breathe, healing stops being a concept—and becomes something you can actually feel.
Over time, I noticed something in many clients: they weren’t lacking willpower or insight. They were carrying too much alone—too quietly, for too long. The anxious overthinking. The grief that never fully had a place to land. The pressure to perform. The emotional labour. The “I should be over this by now.”
I created Calm Mind Therapy for people who want more than surface-level coping. People who want to understand themselves—without being pathologized—and learn how to move through life with more steadiness and self-trust.
Because I’ve seen it again and again: even in the hardest seasons, there is still a way to build peace from the inside out. Not by forcing happiness—by gently clearing what blocks it. And when you can’t see the path alone, that’s where therapy becomes powerful: we find it together.
