Virtual Therapy Information
A practical guide to attending your Calm Mind Therapy appointment online. Virtual sessions are available across Ontario; confirm the format and arrangements for your appointment with the practice.
Before your first appointment
If you are new to Calm Mind, begin with Book a Session to contact the team about a first appointment. Review your therapist, service, fee and appointment time before confirming.
Existing clients can open the Zanda Client Portal using the email address associated with their account. Complete any requested intake and consent forms through the secure instructions provided by the practice.
Find your appointment link
Use the secure joining instructions supplied for your confirmed appointment. Check the appointment date, time and time zone. Keep the link private.
If the link is missing, check your appointment message and junk folder, then contact Calm Mind before the session. The general booking page is not a video-session link.
Prepare your space and device
- Choose a private, quiet location in Ontario where you can speak comfortably.
- Use a charged computer, tablet or phone with a working camera, microphone and reliable internet connection.
- Check audio and video before the appointment; headphones may help with privacy.
- Close distracting apps and notifications. Keep your device supported and a charger nearby.
- Do not join while driving. Let your therapist know about accessibility needs or any difficulty finding a private space.
If you cannot connect
Reopen the appointment link, check your internet connection and confirm the session page has permission to use your camera and microphone. If the problem continues, use the administrative contact details in your appointment message or email the practice. Share the technical problem without including sensitive clinical details.
Your therapist and the practice can clarify the next step; do not assume a disconnected session has been cancelled or rescheduled.
Fees, changes and preparation
Review Fees & Insurance and the cancellation terms in your service agreement. For appointment changes, use the practice’s instructions or contact the team.
